Good morning 304! We have dug into our last book adventure for the year. I would like you to summarize what you have learned from the beginning of Holes so far. Remember, a summary is telling the main ideas of the story. Happy digging!

I've learned that stanly had to choose to go to camp green lake and dig holes are go to jail and he meets Mr. sir and Mr.pendancekey.
first, Stanley yelnats was on the bus going to the bad place next,he got to know everything about the camp last, we left off of that he got to meet all of the people.
stanley has a choise of going to jail or going to campgreen lake.He chose to go to camp green lake sounse like a good choise huh well its not.Camp green lake is a dry sandy place.
Holes is a camp for bad boys they have to dig holes in the wide open space. Stanley was having to go here by axident.being in the wrong place in the wong time.
I thought it was good and the main idea was that stanley was not happy to go to camp green lake because it is not that fun and they had to dig a hole in and empty lake.
First Stanley gets arrested and can go to jail or CAMP GREEN LAKE so he picked green lake then when he got there, thier was no lake it was a desert and he had to dig.
There is a notty boy who was sent to jail. He was getting sent to Camp Green Lake, he thought it would be fun. But ooooo boy it was not fun. And that boy was Stanley Yelnats. There wasn't anything green(by the way this camp is for bad boys).
Well the first 1st that happend was it started with the story telling about camp green lake and about the snakes and stuff. 2nd the book tolled you about the spoted lizerd and how if you get biten you have a slow death.The book also said that some people would get bitten just to get out of digging a hole.3rd Stanley got to the dry and sandy camp and met some people at the camp.
The main character is Stanley and he did something bad so he had to go to a camp called Camp Green Lake and it is like a jail because you have to dig holes everyday and they have to be 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep. Stanleyv has tohave a guys bed that is named Barf Bag. He has been thirsty the whole time so he finally gets a drink from the shower. And there are 2 other people named Mr.Sir and Mr.Pendanski and they call him mom.

Its not a camp you want to be at. and you do not want to miss with the warden.
In the first few capters we leared that camp green lake is a dry camp for boys that cause trouble. The main charter is Stanley.
I lernd that if yo get bitend by a yellow lizerd with spots yo will die.this is taking plin the desert. i think stanly is the man caricter.
