The Polar Express
This week, we have been reading and discussing The Polar Express. This morning, we watched the film adaptation of the book.
In this post, please tell me two similarities and two differences between the book and the movie.
Also, please tell me which version you liked more and why.

They both have that boy and his sister.They both have the polor express.The movie has the boy look through the key hole.In the book they doun'tgo down the slide.I like the movie better because it has more adventure!!!!
Two differnets are the movie had a golden ticket,And the book had no golden ticket.And two simialades are they both had santa in it,They both had a boy in it.Also my favorite movie because it had more detil.
Two same things are that they both have a boy, and that they both go to the north pole. Two differents are that one is a book,and that some of the sesnes are different.
I like the movie the best because it has more adventer.

In the book there was no puppets
but there were in the movie.There was also no hobo goast in the book.
The boy lost his bell in both book and movie.He also got the first gift
of Christmas.
My favorite is the movie because it has lots of different settings.
Here are two similaritirs they bolth have a boy and,Santa gives the first gift of Christmas to the same boy.Here are two differntes for the movie crabo in it and,has a little girl.Here are two differntes for the book he gets on the train right away and, there is no girl that loses her ticket.

One diffrence is that the book never said any thing about a boy named Billy.
In the book it didn't say any thing about a GHOST. I liked the
movie better because it had more
things that maid me in a good mood.
Thay both have the same title.
Same settings.
There was a train in both of them and there was both a kid a difrents is that the ghost was in one and it was not in the book but also there was that the enjneers were only in the movie. kade
My favorite one was the movie because it was more exciting.They both have the Polar Express.Another simalaritie is in both movies he gets one of Santas bells.There is no engeniers in the book.There is no ghost in the book.
The two diffrences are in the movie they get tickets and he looses the girls. The other diffrence is in the movie they find caraboo. The two same things are in both storys he find his bell. in both they go to the north pole.
the simalairied is there are elves and a train and the drivferint is the movie has more movement and it dose not show wen there on ice. and i like the movie beter.
My 2 simalareitis are both had the polar express and both had the 2 kids now my difrenses.Are one burnd his arm and one didn't and the book you get read to you and the movie you watch it.
I like the movie becase you get to sit and realax and watch and plus it was better.
Im the movie the train gose down a
giant drop and the train goes almost under water.In the book the
train dosnt go down a big hill and
dosnt almost go under whater.
Thay both see a lot of elves and
start in his room.
The differens between the movie and the book is the book`s picters does not move and the peples mouth did not move ether.The same about the two is the train daes the same thing and the peple look the same.
In the movie they show the wolf and in the book theyn do not show the wolf.And in both they had train.I like the movie better becase itr is more instering.

Thers Polar Express in both names and He sites on Santas lap and gets the first gift of Christmas.Ther dinfernt becuse in the movie thers a ghost and a nerd in the book he gets on the train with out thinking about it.I like them both the same becuse it my favorit Christmas movie and book.
My two diffrences were that the boys sister was at the very begining and there is a ghost in the movie but not in the book.And the simularaties are that he looses the bell and he gets to the north pole in both of them.
To similarities are that the boy lost the bell and that the didn't want to get on the Polar Express but then he did. Two differnces are that the boy got on the train faster in the book, in the movieit toke the boy little bit to think about geting on the train. I liked the movie better because it has more detail.
The movie has the boy find the bell in the book santa has a elve cut one of a reindeers harnest. They both have the Polar Express. In the movie the boy hears his parents talking about santa in the book he just wakes up because he heard the Polar Express. They both see all the elves in town square. In the movie he waits to get on the Polar Express in the book he gets on the Polar Express right away. I like the book and the movie equale because both are really good and I can't decied.
two similaraties are.....they both have the train,and the bell. the diferenteces are.....in the movie they go on ice,in the book he does not go to santas'workshop.My favorite is the movie.Because there is more advcher!

THERE READ DIFFRENT.THEY HAVE THE SAME TITTLE.ONE IS A MOVIE AND ONES A BOOK.THEY HAVE THE SAME BOY.ONE CAN MOVE AND ONE CAN'T.THEY HAVE THE SAME PITCHERS.
