I read Girl's Best Friend.This book was about an 11 year old girl named Maggie who had a crush on a boy named Milo. She started a dog walking business and ended up becoming a detective to find a dognapper. She was also a twin. Her brother's name was Finn.
In the beginning, Maggie turns 12 and is mad at Finn for inviting her enemy Ivy to their party. Maggie walks 3 dogs. One of them is also named Milo. Ivy used to be Maggie's best friend but now Lucy is.
In the middle, Ivy's dog, Kermit, got stolen and Maggie offered to help find him. Maggie also found out there were other dogs stolen. She started looking for clues and had 3 possible dognappers which were boy-Milo, the veterinarian or Susan, another lady who walked dogs.
In the end, Maggie finds out who the dognapper is with the help of Finn & Lucy. Maggie & Milo decide to walk dogs together.
I liked this book. It was interesting because you had to keep reading to find out who took the dogs. I didn't like that Ivy was mean to Maggie. I also didn't like that the dogs were taken from their owners.

I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.It's about a boy Named Harry Potter and he finds out he is a wizard.Voldomort killed his parents so he has to live with his Aunt and Uncle, the Dursly's. They are the oppisit of nice.Then he goes on a train and meets a boy named Ron.He is really nice.Then they get to Hogwarts.Harry thinks Hogwarts feels more like than the Dursly's.
Harry also meets a really bossy girl named Hermione. Next they have to go into their houses.There is Gryffindor,Hulfflepuff,
Ravenclaw, and my least favorite slytheran.Harry went into Gryffindor.
Then Ron, Hermione,and Harry hear about the Sorcerer's Stone. But they have to get past a three headed dog named Fluffy to get it. They went to get it because they thought Snape was going to steal it. They got the Sorcerer's Stone.
It turns out is was Professer Quirrel.He was going to steal it because he has two faces, him and Voldomort.Quirrel failed and Harry got it.
My favorite part is when Harry was on the train and got a lot of wizard candy. He got at least five each! The Dursly's are the oppisit of my parents.
