I know what you are thinking. Homework on the first day? I would love it if students could bring a souvenir that represents something fun that they did this summer. For example: a beach towel could respresent the time they spent at the pool. Have fun with this and I look forward to seeing all of the kids' souvenirs!
My souvenir will be the canyon trail map from Yellowstone National Park.
